Clear Eyes and Clean Lenses - October 2nd, 2025

Hey Gracepoint family,
Wow, what a Sunday we had together! Last week we kicked off our new series “A Biblical Worldview” and talked about the difference between a Biblical Worldview and Secularism. I left so encouraged by how God is moving in our church.
We talked about lenses, reading glasses, sunglasses, even ski goggles (my personal favorite). Each one changes how we see what’s right in front of us. The same is true about life: the way we see the world is shaped by our worldview.
Here are a few quick takeaways from the message:
Everyone has a worldview. The real question is: is yours the right one? Does it help you see the world as God sees it? Or does it prevent you from seeing correctly.
A secular worldview says life is an accident and we get to define ourselves however we want.
A biblical worldview says we were created on purpose, in God’s image, and with eternal value.
Neutral ground doesn’t exist, neutrality is a myth. We’re all living out some kind of worldview, whether we realize it or not. I also shared my heart as your pastor. God hasn’t called me to be a “hired hand” who runs when things get tough. He’s called me to be a shepherd—to protect, guide, and sometimes say the hard things because I love you and want you anchored in God’s truth.
So here’s the big challenge: Will you stand firm on God’s Word in a world that keeps Changing? If so I encourage the following steps to strengthen a Biblical Worldview.
Test Your Lens – Ask yourself: Am I viewing life more through Scripture or through culture? Compare your answers to life’s big questions with what God’s Word says.
Commit to Scripture – Make the Bible your daily lens. Don’t just read it—let it shape how you think about news, relationships, decisions, and morality (Romans 12:2).
Practice Discernment – Remember that every movie, news story, or cultural message is preaching a worldview. Ask: Does this align with Scripture?
Live as Salt and Light – Bring God’s truth into your family, work, and community with conviction and compassion (Matthew 5:13–16).
Support Your Shepherds – Pray for and encourage your pastors and leaders as they stand against cultural lies and preach God’s truth.
Coming Up This Sunday
This week we’re going to dig deeper into what it means to actually live out a biblical worldview in everyday life. We’ll talk about how to see through the cultural noise, how to stay rooted in truth, and how to shine as salt and light right where God has placed us.
Bring your Bible. Bring a friend. And come ready for God to stretch you and encourage you.
Let’s keep praying together: “Lord, give us clear eyes and clean lenses.”
See you Sunday!
Pastor Daniel
