PARKING ATTENDANTS

In rain, heat, snow, a parking attendant does their best to ensure every person who arrives in a vehicle has a stress free parking experience at Gracepoint.

  • Both men and women welcome to serve
  • Have a big smile, but be willing to be stern when necessary
  • Help drivers by informing them in a friendly manner where they can park
  • Be ready, willing, and able to handle a variety of people courteously
  • Be aware that come rain, snow, or shine you are willing to serve
  • Be willing to work as a team member
    Willing to attend services and special events
 

SECURITY TEAM

Do you have a heart to protect and serve others? The security Team maintains an atmosphere where worshippers feel comfortable and secure at all times.  The ministry aims to protect God’s spokesperson and the attenders of Gracepoint.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Current or retired security professional is a plus
  • Non-security background is also acceptable (GGF Safety / Security Training provided)
  • Regular attendee of the church
  • No disqualifying criminal convictions (background check required)
  • Heart of a servant: Hospitable, dependable, professional, and alert.Willing to attend services and special events

GREETERS

This friendly team loves people and makes them feel at home here at Gracepoint.  They welcome attenders with a smile, encouragements, and personal touch so that hearts are open to the Gospel message.

  • Arrive ½ hour before the start of service
  • Remain on duty at the door 30 minutes into the service
  • Welcome all guests with a smile, a friendly handshake, sensitivity, and hospitality
  • Greeters set the tone for all who enter GGF for worship, especially those who are visiting for the first time.
  • Reflect the warmth and care of our church
  • Neat Appearance
  • Willingness to assist with directions or answer questions as they may arise
  • Willing to attend services and special events

USHERS

Prepare the people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, facilitating the offering, distributing communion, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.

  • Dress – Neat, casual, comfortable
  • Arrive ½ hour before the start of service
  • Distribute materials as needed
  • Collect tithes and offering
  • Distribute communion in the risers and balcony once a month
  • Be aware of empty chairs to be able to seat people as they come in
  • Be sensitive to the various needs that people may have during the service or in the lobby
  • Be mindful of the location of the Security and Emergency Response Team who are available to assist our guests
  • Willing to assist during special events
  • Background check required

MRT (MEDICAL RESPONSE TEAM)

This unit of health care providers serves to triage basic medical attention to our attenders in the event of an accident or medical emergency.

  • Medical background helpful, but not a requirement
  • All members are required to be CPR certified. Recertification and review classes will be scheduled periodically
  • A team of three rescuers is assigned for each service. Responsibilities will include: Rescuer 1 – Airway, Rescuer 2 – Compressions, Rescuer 3 – AED
  • Complete Incident Report within 24 hours
  • Background check required
 

INFO DESK

This team connects attenders to the Church community, providing resources and information on all of our current events, ministry opportunities, and services at Gracepoint

  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of service and remain at the desk 30 minutes after service ends
  • You will be responsible to welcome our visitors, direct them to the sanctuary/children’s area and be prepared to answer any questions that may arise (reference book available)
  • Volunteers may be assigned to the North or South entrances wearing an “ASK ME” badge
  • Willing to help during special events

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

If you enjoy being part of this vital ministry then you enjoy creating an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus.  You will intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, greetings, games, and more.

  • Have a love for children
  • Choose where you would want to serve: Infant Nursery, Toddler Nursery, Preschool, Children’s Church, Check-in Desk, Security
  • Background check required
 

AUDIO / VISUAL TEAM

Bring your creativity and tech-savvy to this team! If you are interested in audio/visual elements, stage production, or filmmaking then become part of the broadcast media department.

  • Dress – Neat, casual, comfortable (Black for Stage Crew)
    Set-up for rehearsal on Sunday at 7:15 am
  • Attend Production meeting at 8:30 am in Prayer Room
  • Confirm availability when scheduled on Planning Center Online
  • Run lights, sound, ProPresenter, or whichever position assigned
  • For ProPresenter users, listen to the songs during the week to know the timing of the songs.
  • Background check required
 

BROADCAST MEDIA TEAM

Do you have a passion for live video production?  Over the last several years, we've been upgrading our broadcast equipment and growing our team to ensure that everyone watching from home can have the best possible worship experience.  If you're looking for a creative or tech-savvy way to serve the church in an area that will allow you to grow your skills, consider being part of the team.

  • Casual dress (dark colors, no shorts, no open-toed shoes)
  • Call time is 7 am on Sunday Mornings
  • Team positions include, camera operating, directing, and live editing
  • Background check required

WORSHIP TEAM

Through vocals, instruments, or audio engineering, this dynamic team prepares the way of our attendees to encounter the presence of the living God.

  • Submit a specified audition tape
  • Dress – Neat, casual, comfortable
  • Attend practice on Thursday evenings and rehearsal on Sunday Morning
  • Confirm availability when scheduled on Planning Center Online
  • Practice instrumental and vocal parts using charts, recordings, and tutorials provided on Planning Center Online
  • Attend at least 1 service on Sunday
  • Tear down equipment and wrap up cables after Sunday services
  • Background check required
 

CHOIR

This powerful team helps glorify God at the highest possible level of excellence to help usher in the presence of God in worship.

  • Submit a specified audition tape
  • Dress – Neat, casual, comfortable
  • Attend practice
  • Confirm availability when scheduled on Planning Center Online
  • Practice choral parts using tracks, sheet music, and charts on Planning Center Online
  • Attend at least 1 service on Sunday
  • Background check required
 

Cafe

Bring your friendly face and experience to meet customer needs, suggest alternatives, and find solutions to provide a positive experience.

  • Must be committed to serving
  • Works well under pressure
  • Must be a “people person” – willing to serve with a smile
  • Help set up coffee, condiments; assist with clean up after 2nd service
