Chris Cruz

Worship Director

Chis Cruz serves as the Worship Director here at Gracepoint. He was born and raised in the South Bronx. Growing up in the Bronx, Chris was always interested in business and making money. So naturally God placed him in ministry. Chris was introduced to music at a young age when his parents decided to place him in the kids praise choir in the 4th grade. Since then his love for music has only grown. At the age of 18 years old he decided to learn how to play the piano. Since then he’s learned how to also play the drums and guitar as well. But more importantly than the music, Chris has grown to love worship and realizes the importance of having this kind of fellowship with God in our lives. He desires that all would worship in spirit and in truth as mentioned in John 4, where we boldly declare the goodness of God and long for his presence. He is married to his favorite person in the world, Kathleen and is a proud father of two children: Ethan and Eliana.
